Frazer, Smith & Denison
Smith’s Story
I spent my early years living on the small island of Merelava in the Banks, raised mostly by my grandmother. When I grew to school age, I moved to Santo Island, where I attended school up through sixth grade. After this I began following my father to work, helping him with the various jobs he did. In 2003, I went to the capital, Port Vila, to search for work of my own. In 2007, I met Denison.
Denison’s Story
I was born and raised on Pentecost Island. As a child, I injured my foot quite badly. In 1992, when I was in second grade, I had the opportunity to go live with an Australian woman where I received medical treatment for my foot. Over the next twelve years, I travelled between Australia and Vanuatu before finally moving back to Port Vila in 2004. It was there that I met Smith.
Their Journey Together
Two years after we met in the capital island, we moved to Santo Island. 2019 was an important year for both of us, because that is when we both turned our lives over to Jesus Christ and were baptized. God has blessed us with one son, named Martin. We were thrilled to join the Up and Up Ministries team in 2024.
